Given the continued uncertainties surrounding international travel and institutional funding, after much deliberation, the ACQS Executive Board has decided to postpone this fall’s ACQS biennial conference to October 20 – 23, 2022, which will be held at the Renaissance Baltimore Harborplace Hotel. For the following conference, we will return to Quebec City on October 3-6, 2024. While we are all very disappointed to have to wait several more years before hosting in Quebec, we are extremely grateful to the Hôtel Le Concorde for their unparalleled understanding in working with us to allow us to return in 2024 without financial penalty to the organization.

Following our usual pre-conference timeline, we will once again disseminate the call for papers and reopen the submissions portal for new applications. We ask that this time everyone submits a new proposal, regardless of any previous submissions. If you have questions for us, please contact us:

· Proposal submissions and presentation details: ACQS Vice-President Yulia Bosworth (bosworth@binghamton.edu)

· Membership: ACQS Treasurer, Mark Richard (mark.richard@plattsburgh.edu)

· Governance: ACQS President Kate Harrington (knharrington@plymouth.edu)

We apologize for any inconveniences this necessary change may cause and hope that you will plan to join us in Baltimore in 2022.

Since we will not be seeing you in Quebec this year, we hope that many of us will be able to reconnect at the ACSUS conference that is taking place Oct. 21-24, 2021 in Washington D.C.

As always, we encourage you to reach out to the members of the Executive Board with any comments or questions.

Thank you for your understanding,

The ACQS Executive Board
